We have heard officially that the Fountain has now been bought by South Lanarkshire Council.  In spite of many requests we are still not being given any data by SLC on what they plan to do with it.  The most recent response is that 'no decision has been taken yet on its future'.  Surprising when an amount of £1.13 million for its refurbishment is in their next year's budget!

Could it be they want to turn it back into a 'hall' and get rid of the Jubilee, but don't want to 'come clean' because of the 'stushie' it would create?
