As previously reported   Eatonfield, a Welsh-based property development company have confirmed that they've signed contracts to purchase Birkwood Estate.  As yet we've had no further information on either the sale going through or what plans Eatonfield have for the area.

We have been told by Eatonfield that Auchlochan Trust are no longer involved.

South Lanarkshire Council recedntly passed a Tree Preservation Order on the property.
