We understand that changes are being considered: moving the bus lane back to where the existing shelter sits; reducing the pavement on the north side, near Roserinis; adding disabled access to the pavements.  However we await confirmation of this.

This redevelopment is causing a lot of concern; in particular the farmers who use New Trows Road. We understand they have asked SLC for a meeting on site to demonstrate the problems. Further concern is the placing of the bus stops on both sides of the road. We understand that the plan is to have double yellow lines around the area but it would have been good if they’d been brought in now. Of course the yellow lines by themselves won’t work unless there are wardens around, and so far we haven’t seen many of them!
